Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Legae Funeral Home (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”), a registered South African company with its principal place of business in Soweto, Gauteng.
2. Competition Overview
The Legae Grocery Giveaway (“the Competition”) is a promotional activity conducted in connection with the Kings and Queens Aerobics Event taking place on Saturday, 18 October 2025 in Soweto.
One (1) winner will receive a grocery hamper displayed at the Legae Funeral Home activation stand during the event.
3. Eligibility
3.1. The Competition is open to all South African citizens aged 18 years or older who attend the Kings and Queens Aerobics Event.
3.2. Employees, directors, agents, or immediate family members of Legae Funeral Home or any of its affiliates are not eligible to enter.
3.3. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
4. Entry Mechanism
4.1. To enter, participants must complete the official entry form at the activation stand, providing their full name and contact number.
4.2. Each participant is allowed one entry only.
4.3. Entries close at 15:00 on 18 October 2025.
5. Prize Details
5.1. One (1) winner will receive the grocery hamper displayed at the activation on the day of the event.
5.2. The prize is not transferable, not refundable, and not exchangeable for cash or any other goods or services.
5.3. No additional groceries will be given beyond those displayed at the activation.
6. Winner Selection and Announcement
6.1. The winner will be selected by random draw on the day of the event under the supervision of the event planners.
6.2. The winner will be announced publicly at the event and contacted telephonically within 48 hours.
7. General Terms
7.1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of participants and disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms.
7.2. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the competition if necessary, provided that such changes are communicated publicly.
7.3. By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the use of their name, photograph, and likeness for marketing and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
7.4. Participants agree to be contacted for sales and promotional purposes by Legae Funeral Home.
7.5. Personal information collected for the purpose of this competition will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
8. Liability
Legae Funeral Home will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in this competition or the use of the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
